Happy New Year Everyone!
I have no idea how many people read this blog but I suspect you should pat yourself on the back because if you are reading this you’re probably part of a select few. It’s been several months since my last post but since I don’t know of anyone who is an “avid reader” of my blogs, no apologies are probably necessary.
The reason for the extended inter-blog interval is that things here at DCPM have been busy. As the year comes to a close and deductibles have been met, people try to get as much of their medical issues addressed before the new year.
Let me say, however, that the new year is also a perfect time to begin to address some medical issues that you maybe have been ignoring or pretending they don’t bother you. Many people make New Year’s resolutions that can be difficult to keep such as lose weight, or exercise more, or eat better, or break a bad habit or solve world peace. Mind you, all of these things are good, but if you or someone you know has a problem with urinary leakage or pelvic prolapse or pain, then Dr. Feagins and Dr. Isom-Batz are here to help with a New Years Resolution that can actually be achieved! This is an issue that, once addressed, results in significant improvement in quality of life.
If you have been having trouble with erections but keep thinking the problem will get better on it’s own, make a New Years Resolution to improve your sexual health. I am here to help you with this resolution.
Whatever your reason for coming to the Dallas Center for Pelvic Medicine, here is a bit of information everyone will find helpful. We are supposed to be MOVING TO A NEW OFFICE location in the later part of JANUARY. As with any construction project, these dates are tentative and have already been pushed back once or twice so don’t hold my feet to the fire on this. I promise I have no control over this situation but I can advise you to call ahead before your appointment just to verify our location. Phone number is (214)360-1535.
Hoping everyone has a happy, healthy, blessed 2009,
Dan B. French
