Premature Ejaculation PE

Premature ejaculation or PE is a common form of sexual dysfunction.

PE is characterized by consistent ejaculation and orgasm before or within about 1 minute of vaginal penetration that causes distress to one or both partners.

Reasonable sources estimate that 1 in 5 men under age 60 are affected by Premature EjaculationDespite so many men with Premature Ejaculation, few are willing to talk with their doctors about this condition and may miss out on treatment that could improve their sexual experience.

Diagnosis

  • Is made almost exclusively by a thorough sexual history
  • Based on thorough history, Premature Ejaculation is classified as primary (present since the onset of sexual activity) or secondary (developed after a period of “normal” time to ejaculation)
